My Life My Say is a youth-led, non-partisan movement on a mission to encourage young people to participate in democracy, and get every single young person voting.
We’re recognised as one of the leading drivers of youth engagement in the UK, reaching over 6 million young people since 2013, increasing access to democracy, and affecting real change that benefits the greater good.

We create conversation between young people and policymakers via our award-winning flagship programme, Democracy Cafés, alongside the UK’s largest youth summit, Next Gen. Our Squad programme empowers future leaders with essential skills to lead change within their communities. And, we spearhead mass voter registration campaigns including the Give an X campaign and National Voter Registration Day to drive young people to the polls.

ABOUT
The Changemaker of the Year Award recognises an individual’s outstanding impact in driving change in the sectors affecting young people the most. Whether that’s through activism, leadership, innovation or community, the award celebrates those who are standing up for the next generation and making a real change.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nominees must be aged between 18-30.

Nominees have displayed outstanding work in the last year to drive change for an issue affecting young people in the UK.
Shortlisted nominees will receive a VIP ticket to Next Gen Conference 2025, with the winner being announced on the day.
